Why BlobCap exists

AI labs have run out of public web data, so they're buying private data: company Slack and email archives, codebases, unused video, books. Most of these deals are confidential. Buyers quote wildly different prices, often with 48-hour deadlines, and sellers have almost no way to know whether an offer is fair.

The few sources of prices that exist are run by brokers and vendors who earn a cut when deals close. BlobCap is the neutral alternative: real offers shared anonymously by sellers, plus every public deal we can source, shown as ranges.
